What do I feel about SPM?

After finishing my SPM last year, I finished school and is taking a long break until I finally get an acceptance to a university. Not that I can't get into one, but I'm just waiting for my SPM results to come out (but let's be honest, who doesn't want to chill and relax and not have to worry about exams for a couple of months?)
Into the topic, for all the form 5 students in Malaysia, SPM results seem to conquer our entire life till the age of 18. To be honest, it is just a form of recognition of students who are better in memorising. So whoever out there who is planning to get really good results, just memorise everything. Not that it totally bad, but what benefit do we students get? Can we memorise our way into getting more customers to our shop or having morals?
Having said that, I'm not against it because that's how the Asian education system works. Ultimately, SPM results are just to determine whether or not you'll get a scholarship and get into a good school. Well, not getting into a good school doesn't mean that you can't succeed in life. I know plentiful of people who didn't get good results in their SPM but when they got older, they became successful people.
Results are coming out on the 16th of March and my expectation is 3As. JUST KIDDING I rather not aim high because ya know, 'higher the expectations, higher the disappointment'. ALL THE BEST TO THOSE WHO ARE GETTING THEIRS TOOO!!
P/S: This is my first blog entry, so I'm still trying to figure out how everything works. And I also hope that I won't get lazy and stop blogging huhu
Just a verse to remind myself and all of you!
