My First Ever TaoBao Haul

First of all, lets take a few seconds to appreciate that thumbnail I created for more than an hour. I think I owe an shoutout to them: I used this really cool page called 'Canva' ( if you're reading this, thanks :) )

Before I start, I'm actually really startled by the fact that people actually read my blogs which really excites me because it reminds me that this can be a platform to help people out, for example: to not get scam by shops that sells expensive online clothes from taobao!! So if you're secretly an Asian aunty like me, I've got you.

Just to feed you with some info first, I did not purchase a lot of things this time round because:

1. It was my first time and I was scared I would screw up the details and end up wasting 200rm by sending clothes to Madagascar or something.

2. I'm about to leave for studies and I was worried that the parcel wouldn't arrive soon enough.

BUT IT DID!!!

So the whole process took 15 days, since the day I paid for the items and it reaching. Fun fact: I chose this option which requires me to pay twice, once for the items to be sent to the warehouse in China and another time is for the items to be shipped to Malaysia ( it took the items 6 days to arrive here from China )

OKAY FIRST ITEM is this mustard coloured tight-fitting T-shirt with frills on the edge:

I'm actually quite sad because I accidentally chose the WRONG COLOUR! I was supposed to order a baby pink one but then I clicked 黄色。But, I actually like it and it's my favourite one out of all the items. The quality is great and the material is stretchy which is why there's no need to choose a size on the website. It comes in six colours: black, brown, yellow, grey, pink, white, blue.

This piece sells for RMB 25 = RM 16.23 which is crazy!!!! Cheapest plain tee from H&M is about RM25, yes digest that. This is actually the most expensive one out of all the items so I guess you really pay for the quality.

SECOND ITEM is this army green laced-up spaghetti top:

The quality is okayy and quite stretchy also but its quite short ( I didn't tuck in so it reaches my waist ) so I'll need to pair it with something high-waisted ( white skater skirt in the picture ). These type of singlets are realllyyyyy cute BUT I need to wear my sticky black bra because there are holes in the middle which exposes the bra.

This piece sells for RMB 11.99 = RM 7.79. Where can you get RM8 of clothe?

THIRD ITEM is this white off shoulder flowy blouse:

I was reluctant to post this because it shows nothing except my bra underneath. Quite upset because it wasn't as nice I thought it would be. Oh well, that's how online shopping works but I think it'll be nice on other people, just not me. Actually the quality is quite good but it's just see through. But also looks like its swallowing me.

FOURTH ITEM is this inspired beautyblender:

It looks quite convincing plus I needed a makeup sponge which isn't disposable or my hands. This one has a little container and it's really soft. I have no idea how the real one feels like but I know its costs RM100 in Sephora. I'm not a professional makeup artist so this will do for the mean time and its RMB 9.90 = RM 6.43.

FIFTH AND FINAL ITEM is a box of 5 pairs of cute socks ( stationery version ):

WHAT could go wrong with socks!!! These are gems and are sooooo comfy too plus they are RMB 9.90 = RM 6.43 ( same as the makeup sponge ) which makes them RM 1.30 per pair! #worthitwinner
